Introduction of Ampoule Filling Machine

The process of ampoule filling and sealing generally includes the following steps: arranging ampoules, filling, filling nitrogen, and sealing. According to customer needs, there are various options for nitrogen filling: 1. Nitrogen filling before separate; 2. No nitrogen filling; 3. Nitrogen filling before and after; 4. Nitrogen filling after separate; 5. Wire drawing nitrogen filling.



1. Ampoule Arranging

After being sterilized in a tunnel oven, the ampoules enter the bottle feeding mesh belt of the ampoules filling machine, and are arranged in an orderly manner and transported to the subsequent process at a fixed distance; Marya can now realize the fully automatic and integrated operation of the washing, drying, filling and sealing function of the ampoule filling and sealing machine.


2. Filling Process

Filling is to inject the prepared liquid into the ampoule bottle according to the set volume. In order to meet the requirements of ampoules of different specifications and sizes, the machine’s structure should be easy to adjust. Due to the small size of the neck of the ampoule, a filling needle similar to an injection needle is required to fill the ampoule with the test liquid. Since multiple ampoules are filled at the same time, the filling and sealing machine accordingly has multiple sets of metering mechanisms and filling needles.



3. Filling Nitrogen

To prevent oxidation of the drug, nitrogen should be injected into the upper part of the ampoule. In addition, it is sometimes necessary to pre-fill nitrogen, and then refill the drug liquid. The air is replaced with nitrogen in advance, and the nitrogen filling function is also completed by the nitrogen end of the pipeline


4. Sealing Process

The neck of the ampoule containing the liquid medicine and nitrogen is heated with a flame to melt the seal. When heating, the ampoule needs to be rotated to melt the neck evenly. In order to ensure that there is no hidden danger of pores during the sealing process, the modern sealing machine adopts the wire drawing sealing process. The wire drawing sealing is not only the fusion of the bottle neck glass itself, but also the mechanical action of pulling away the excess glass on the top of the bottle neck with wire drawing pliers. In addition, the rotating action of the ampoule itself can ensure that the seal is tight and leak-free, the glass thickness at the seal is uniform, and the phenomenon of cold explosion is not easy to occur.
